Beginning in 2017 in celebration of the foundation's 10th anniversary, The Stegall Seminary Scholarship Endowment Foundation began presenting a Church Appreciation Award to honor a church who has shown faithful commitment to the mission of the foundation. The award name was changed to "Church of the Year" in 2022. This presentation is made during the annual Dinner of Celebration. Winners are selected by the foundation's Board of Directors.

Duffey Award
At the "Dinner of Celebration" in 2022 the Foundation Board of Directors inaugurated a “Bishop Paul A. Duffey, Sr. Award” for Clergy Excellence. The award will be presented annually to one of our many former scholarship recipients serving in ordained ministry who exemplifies the excellence with which Bishop Duffey served the church. This presentation is made during the annual Dinner of Celebration. Winners are selected by the foundation's Board of Directors.
